About this course

This course brings Daftra's Sales tutorials together in one path. It starts in "Sales Settings", where you configure invoice numbering, discount and adjustment methods, maximum discounts, manual statuses, shipping options, order sources, additional fields and invoice and quotation designs.

The lessons then follow the sales cycle itself: creating quotations and turning them into sales orders and invoices, creating a sales invoice step by step, managing invoices from a single page, sending them to customers through messaging apps, and showing the profit on each invoice.

  • Handling returns with return invoices and credit notes, and issuing debit notes.
  • Setting up recurring invoices for repeat services, and applying offers and discounts to products.
  • Reading the best- and worst-selling products report, and adding a stamp or e-signature to your documents.

FAQ

What language are the videos in? Are English subtitles available?

The videos are in Arabic. Every lesson has an English transcript and English captions.

What is the difference between a discount and an adjustment on a sales invoice?

A discount affects the tax applied and can be set per line item or on the invoice total. An adjustment is a small positive or negative amount used to round off fractions, and it does not affect the tax. The second lesson covers this.

Do I have to use quotations and sales orders before issuing an invoice?

No. You can issue invoices directly; quotations and sales orders are optional steps you enable in "Sales Settings" if you want a more structured sales cycle.

What is the difference between a credit note and a debit note?

A credit note records items returned from a sales invoice, while a debit note increases the value of an invoice as a monetary amount only, without affecting inventory.
