This workshop is a practical introduction to financial accounting, applied in Daftra. It starts from the idea that an accountant should see the business the way its owner does: not only entering journal entries, but working towards a result that supports decisions through the income statement and the statement of financial position.
The sessions follow the example of a new company recorded in Daftra from scratch:
- "General Accounts" settings, and registering customers, suppliers, products and fixed assets, including importing products from an Excel file.
- Purchase and sales invoices, returns and expenses, and the journal entries they create automatically.
- Purchase invoices with stock permissions enabled and without them.
- Inventory tracking by serial number or shipment, the cost of instant versus pre-prepared production, and work orders.
Mohamed Amin, accounts manager and financial consultant at Daftra, joins the third and fourth sessions.
