This course shows how a beauty centre is run in Daftra: services and packages with their categories, images and duration, customers, the staff who perform the services, and selling from the cashier screen in "Point of Sale".

It consists of a long recorded session that goes through the settings and daily work step by step, followed by a shorter summary of the same topics.

Enabling the apps a centre needs, such as Sales, Point of Sale, Inventory, Bookings and Employees.
Assigning the service provider when selling, and splitting a payment across several methods.
Following staff commissions and paying them with a payment voucher, and reading point-of-sale and accounting reports.

FAQ

What language are the videos in? Are translations available?

The videos are in Arabic. Every lesson has an English transcript and English captions.

Can I choose which staff member performs a service when selling?

Yes. When selling, an option appears to choose the service provider, and the system lists only the users allowed to perform that service under your settings. If the quantity is increased, a different provider can be chosen for each unit.

How are staff commissions paid out?

After viewing them in the commissions report, they are paid from "Finance" then "Expenses" with a payment voucher that sets the amount, date, treasury and a category such as Commission, or a commission sub-account. The commission account is on the debit side of the resulting entry.

Can a customer pay with more than one payment method in the same sale?

Yes. The session shows splitting the amount by entering the part paid in cash and adding another payment method for the rest. A deferred invoice can also be created with no immediate collection.
